User Council

In 2019, ICGI established a permanent user council with representatives from different cancer patient organisations. Through seminar days and video meetings, the different research projects are presented to the council members, and there are constructive discussions involving both researchers and the patient organisations. This council represents an important corrective to our ideas and help us to keep our focus on how we best may contribute to better cancer treatment.

The user Council consists of members from the following patient organisations:

• NORILCO (Gastrointestinal cancer) 
• PROFO (Prostate cancer) 
• The Norwegian Association for Gynaecological Cancer 
• The Norwegian Society for Lung Cancer 
• Norwegian association for melanoma (“Melanomforeningen”)
• Norwegian association for sarcoma (Sarkomer)
• Blodkreftforeningen (Hematopoietic cancer)
